'WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY'

'WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY'

We observed 'World Mental Health Day' on October 10th, 2023.

'World Mental Health Day' provides an opportunity to the people and to the communities to unite behind the theme ‘Mental health is a universal human right” towards improving knowledge, raising awareness and to drive actions that promote and protect everyone’s mental health as a universal human right.

Having a mental health condition should never be a reason to deprive a person of their human rights or to exclude them from decisions about their own health. Yet all over the world, people with mental health conditions continue to experience a wide range of human rights violations. Many are excluded from community life and discriminated against, while many more cannot access the mental health care they need or can only access care that violates their human rights.

It was such an incredible day filled with positivity and concern for self-care! ???????? We were fortunate to have the much admired Prem Lata Gulati Ma'am in our midst for a highly rewarding session with our girl students and teachers.

She shared so many valuable insights and techniques to help us improve our mental well-being and live healthier lives. ????‍??????

From yoga techniques to tips for managing stress, she covered it all! ????? It was truly empowering to learn from her and take steps towards prioritizing our mental health care endeavours. Remember, it's important to take care of ourselves, both physically and mentally.
